Announced in late August 2008, the M-Audio DSM1 is a professional studio monitoring speaker. Allowing for a variety of inputs, including balanced analogue and digital with support up to 24-bit/192kHz, the DSM1 features a 1" tweeter and a 6.5" low-and-mid range driver that is capable of pumping out up to 180W of sound. Expected to ship in the fourth quarter, the DSM1 has an MSRP of $649.95. An upgraded model with a larger low frequency driver, the M-Audio DSM2, was released at the same time.
